25 Years of Excellence: Instrumentation Technologies’ Journey from Vision to Achievement

Since 1998 Instrumentation Technologies has grown from a garage company to a world leader in cutting-edge instrumentation for the accelerator beam diagnostics market, as well as solutions for other technologically demanding fields.

Our journey has been filled with technological breakthroughs, innovative solutions, and most importantly, the relationships we’ve built along the way – not only within our team but also through the support and collaboration of our valued customers, partners, and local community.

The celebrations began back in July when we presented our own ice cream taste – Instrumentation Technologies. It was an innovative way to announce the anniversary to the public.

On the 21st of September, we organized an open day at our company’s headquarters in Solkan, Slovenia to mark this important milestone with the people close to us, our families, and the local community.
The day started with workshops for students from Gimnazija Nova Gorica and Šolski Center Nova Gorica. Our engineers prepared engaging challenges to present areas of their work. Students took on the tasks from hardware and software as well as got to know our Red Pitaya.We continued with a roundtable discussion with the mayor of the city of Nova Gorica, Mr. Samo Turel, and representatives of our neighbors from Velika Pot, Business Solutions, Advansys, and MA-NO. The topic was the role of high-tech companies in the local environment. All speakers underlined the importance of collaborations between industry and bodies of local authority to better approach problems like housing, environmental spatial plans, and brain drain.

After a serious fruitful debate, it was finally time to toast and take a walk through our company. Our marketing department put a lot of effort into capturing different stories, from our beginnings in particle accelerators to more recent successes in the industry.

Looking at all the stories we created makes us realize that our 25th anniversary is not just a milestone but a testament to the enduring spirit of innovation and community that defines Instrumentation Technologies. As we look ahead, we are filled with optimism, knowing we are surrounded by a team that continues to push the boundaries of what’s possible, customers who have believed in us from the beginning, partners with whom with grow together, and last but not least a community who stood by our side since our garage beginnings.

We are certain the best is yet to come, and we’re excited to embark on the next chapter of innovation, growth, and community engagement.
