We are proud to announce that we are one of the co-founders of XIRIS institute for research and development of Internet of Things. The other co-founders are Robert Ambrož, Tom Puc and Tomaž Uršič. All co-founders are core members of TheThingsNetwork (TNN) Nova Gorica, which is the first official TNN community in Slovenia and Ex-Yugoslavia territory. The co-founders were also the initiators of LoraWAN technology in Slovenia. You can read more about the LoraWAN gateway that is installed on our building in Solkan here.
The aim of XIRIS institute is organization of different non-profit activities in the field of Internet of Things. With these activities the institute will help the development and expansion of technical culture and offer support with phasing IoT to education, economy and public services.
